Matte & Sparkly

Happy Monday everyone!  I'm particularly happy to have the day off today, though I am not sporting patriotic nails.  I just wasn't in the mood for red white and blue today.

Today I have a mani for you that I created when trying to figure out how to incorporate the use of a dotting tool (for a theme) and not wanting to do the same stuff I always see everywhere.

It is a little random but I think it came out pretty cool.

I only got one decent pic cause I was in a rush.  It's Sally Hansen Presto Pewter, Dollish Polish Welome to Rapture and a black polish, I don't recall exactly which one.

I painted all my nails with the Sally Hansen, then I put the Dollish Polish on my thumb, pinkie an index fingers.  I used a thin paintbrush to freehand the various lines on the accent fingers. Then I used a medium tipped dotting tool to put the dots on random points of the lines.  Finished up with dotting some of the glitter onto the dots, then using Hard Candy Matte Top coat over it all.

I think it is an interesting look, though not very seasonally appropriate.  I was going to take a picture of it shiny too but I forgo before I took it off, oops!

What do you think of this look?
